Any N.W.A fans?

I was watching some of their videos on youtube, and these guys were a sho-nuff trip!!! But all ended up turning against eachother in the 90's, and making all of these diss songs about eachother! But I liked their songs that came out in the 80's, very powerful, but very pro-black, sexist, homophobic, etc, and I still cant believe they had a lot of white fans!

Not really a fan ( don't hate them though), but someone mixed "Straight Outta Compton" with the theme song from My Brother and Me. http://www.myspace.com/mybrotherandmee

Please tell me someone remembers that show on Nick from the mid 90's. It was very short-lived.....only one season.

Money, Hellar was paying more money to Eazy then the rest of NWA when it's well known that Cube/Dre/Ren/Yella were the writers and producers of N.W.A.

Thats what I heard too...I heard that Eazy didnt even write his own raps!? If you dont do that, you might as well not be a rapper!

Cube and Ren were the main writers (Dre helped a bit) and the main producer was Dr. Dre (with DJ Yella producing some but mostly doin the DJin'/scratchin')

GOOD NEWS: One of the best rap albums of all time.

BAD NEWS: In 1988, THIS album started the decrease of the negative shock value on the word "n****".

Yeah, they were great. I first heard a cover of "F*ck the Police" and from there got into NWA. Major Ice Cube fan. His rhymes were so delightfully racist.

Great songs, classic albums, but I just can't stand them when they start with the macho thing and all that "women are objects" stuff.

I agree, but I also like the softer Ice Cube, but he was pissed off back in the 80's to the early 90's. Have you ever heard a song by him called 'No Vaseline?'

Cube was just honing his flow at this period, but to me MC Ren had the best flow.
Collectively they were some bad mofo's that changed the rap game.
