The OFFICIAL American blues appreciation thread! Its the official thread for that good ole blues music, that makes you shake you bootie and stomp your feet !! My great-grandfather listened to Muddy Waters, Albert King, etc...I'm 24 and I've recently started listening to some old blues records...I like classic and contemporary blues artist, any other blues fans? My favorite blues artist are...

As for his singing, I recently realized that he started his singing career by imitating Paul Robeson and his "Old Man River" routine, he wanted to sing opera too but club owners hounded him with the "nobody wants to see a colored man singing opera" talk. | |
