Jimmy Fallon has a video out for the single off his new cd. The song is called Idiot Boyfriend, and part of it features a parody of the video for When Doves Cry

Basically, Jimmy goes over to his girlfriend's house, they want him to sing, and he start's singing this song, getting really into it. Periodically the video flashes away to parodies of different 80's videos (At least I presume, the only part I recognized was the when doves cry bit). Close to the end there are a couple of flashes to a look-alike When Doves Cry set, with the bathtub and flower petals. Jimmy is crawling on and humping the floor in a great Prince outfit, complete with peach-fuzz mustache.

Anyway, I thought this video was pretty hilarious, and the whole song is sung in an early Prince style falsetto. The music and voice reminded me of Soft and Wet in particular, especially the love-making-gasp-for-air sounds smile
