Cool site. I just wish the brother would put a truly funky new album. His last album proper, the German released 'Play With Bootsy', had acouple of cool tracks, but it played too much to the disco and hip hop crowd. From memory, he barely even played any bass on the whole album eek .

I'm hoping that the passing of his first mentor JB, might inspire him to lay down some superheavy old-skool-ish funk, maybe even bringing along some of his old P-Funk and JB alumni.

To my knowledge, it's been too long since Boots brought on the funk, at least on record.

He stays quite busy with other more behind-the-scenes projects.
