The New Michael Jackson?? Judging from the last time I saw MJ per4m on his Tribute show a couple of years back. I have been thinking about what an MJ show would be like nowadays. He looked very tired & kinda old while he was dancing. Don't get me wrong..I still think he's an amazing dancer.
But with him his thing was his DANCING. More so than Prince who's Guitar playing was more the dominate part of his Act. Now realistically with age comes physical limitations...Prince doesn't do the splits anymore. But U can ALWAYS expect 2 hear him make that Guitar scream just as good if not Better than the old days. Now that MJ can't do the things he used 2 do on stage what do U think an MJ show will be like now?? I'm not sure how I would like just seeing him walk around the stage looking stiff. Sorry..I just would be really sad watching it. What do U think the Future holds 4 MJ the Performer? Since he has always relied heavlily on his Dancing.

That whole era(2001-early 2002), he was...how can I say....fuck it, I don't know, he was just off. That part in "Living With Michael Jackson" was way better. These days, if Michael didn't dance as much or if Prince wasn't doing the splits or whatever, I don't care! I'm 19 years old and haven't even seen them live I need a hug "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

But Ms Esther doesnt quite dance to the point MJ does. She is more of a theatre act than a song&dance act. That's not even the point though. MJ has been saying since Bad Tour(and every following tour) that he wont tour again so I dont think that's where his heart is anymore And for the record I did not mention her real name so there might be a chance that the thread isnt cursed yet.

lord!
I can just see this thread going down into a negative spin, so I'll say this and leave....I have every bit of faith in MJ and his performance capabilities, he has a hell of a lot more to prove than any other artist coming out and I'm sure he'll bring it. But then, for some people, his best will never be enough....but who the hell cares!!! BTW...quit with the nasty comments will you! [Edited 6/13/07 16:12pm]

I think with the Bad tour, he wanted to prove to the world after what happened with the Victory Tour and probably said it would be his last tour to make it bigger. Because 2 years later, he was planning the Dangerous Tour The worse tour as in terms of effort was the HIStory Tour. After what happened in 1993 and 1994, he just seemed he slummed it and only did it to please the fans and record label. As terms in planning, marketing, and promotion? The muthafuckin Victory Tour! I'm kinda worried about him. Is it just me or does he seem 2 have a bad back or something?? I have noticed a kind of Hunch Back like syndrome these past few years. Look at some photos & clips....
I wonder if this comes from all those years of dancing.. MJ's dancing was his Indentity. I can't imagine going 2 a concert & seeing him barely make it threw a show without dancing.

No offense to any vegans out there. But Mike needs to eat some MEAT.
Because of MJ's lack of meat consumption he suffers from Vitamin B-12 deficiency. Doctors have connected that this type of deficiency may cause or help spread cases of vitiligo. B12 is mostly found in animal tissue. All his doctors prescribed him to eat MEAT, but he refuses. Mj can still build his body into shape but now that he's older he needs certain things. If the late james brown was still slippin and sliding into his 70's and mick jagger can still run up and down a stage night after night for a tour; MJ can def get his steps back... He just needs to workout and start eating healthy and take the right vitamins. I am a Rail Road, Track Abandoned

The only thing I think is that he just looks a little too thin and frail. He needs to gain some weight. Also ever since Michael fell from that crane during a performance from the "History Tour" he has had bad back problems. I don't know what his situation is like these days, but a bad back is nothing to play with and I don't know if he'll still be able to dance that well anymore because of it but we'll see. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

I read how at the time, donny osmond wanted advice on how to then get his career back on track, and mike said "call urself don". Great advice Mike. MJ will do what all aging singer/dancers do - he will have a group of dancers behind him who will be doing the real dancing while MJ does simpler moves in the front. Think Shirley MacClaine or Liza Minnelli - its a standard show biz practice. He will still be dancing - just simpler moves to accomadate him.
