What on god's green earth is MJ talking about....

in the very beginning of "don't stop til you get enough"? he keeps rambling on about "the power". shit is too funny! biggrin

believe it or not i am just now getting into this album. i bought it last year and only played it once but now i'm digging it. would you say it's a disco/funk album??

It's a pop/soul album, with some contemporary (at the time) hihat-driven disco beats.

sorry. about the above screw up.

What I was trying to post was that He was talking about how love is powerful and has a lot of force in it and it's so overwhelming to him that it makes him feel like, "Ooooh!" That's what the entire song is about.

Off The Wall is my favorite MJ album. It's very funky (those basslines!), very disco (i.e. "Get On The Floor" and "Burn This Disco Out"), and very much 1970's. It's a classic. It's way better than Thriller to me.

ahhhh, i see. interesting. it's just funny. his voice is so high pitched when he speaks. i get it though.

i think i always thought it was more of a disco album which is why it's taken me so long to buy/listen to it but i'm digging it now. overall i think Bad might be my fave MJ album even though "wanna be starin something" and "billie jean" are his greatest songs imo. also i think "they don't care about us" is underrated. that track is slammin!
