i didn't care much for southern death cult.or death cult..but is the cult like the best out of three..

'Love' is one of my favorite albums. Especially 'Rain', 'Brotherwolf Sister Moon', 'The Phoenix'. I'll stop before I name the whole album. Its a good blend of pschedelic and heavy. Its their highpoint IMO. Electric and Sonic Temple are good too, But 'Love' is on another level. This thread riminds me that I still dont have the remastered version. I def. dig the 'The Cult' incarnation the most out of the three.

Aki is a cool guy. Takes his radical politics a bit too far, sometimes, tho...

saw them in concert once...good show..and she gives sanctuary is one of my favorite songs...i'd say they ain't too bad.

The first two Cult albums Dreamtime and Love might be the best of all their incarnations. "Spiritwalker" is one of my favorite songs of all time. Electric is when they hooked up with Rick Rubin and sold out a bit although I like listening to that one and the full metal follow up Sonic Temple. Any album after that is NOT worth getting I think. Just get the singles.
