She definitely fucked up Baby Please Don't Go and the rest of the appearance w/Zappa.

This reminds me of something I do resent about her, if the stories are true.

The concert film Lennon Live in NYC is one of the only proper full concerts by Lennon that we have, and supposedly there were two shows that were taped that night. For some reason, Yoko decided to resease the first "rehearsal" show of the evening confused

On the Anthology, I believe there are a couple songs from the second show and indeed they sound much more exciting.

If that's true, thene she's actively messed up Lennon product and I would hold that against her.

Looks like i'm late to the party. Everythings already been pretty much expressed so far.
But not enough to rectify any hate towards the woman
and saying she is the guiding factor to the breakup of the beatles is just cliche...
Everyone was pursuing their own agenda especially McCartney,
So the beatles were done. And nothing was gonna stop it from happening.
Yoko just really sings bad... and is a bad artist in my opinion.
But i don't hate her.
I actually trust her more than McCartney...
now i despise McCartney...

ask Julian if you wanna now what a bitch freak from hell the woman is.

Allegedly the only thing Julian wanted when his father died was a guitar that he remebered John playing to him when he was a kid, Yoko wouldn't let him have it, but just fobbed him off with a new guitar that John had bought but never even played.

Well, the above posts point out most of the historic resentment against Yoko.

But there also was a cultural subtext: To most Westerners, one-half of the top songwriting acts in the world was being "stolen" away from the world's biggest supergroup by a questionably talented Asian woman of debatable looks...

It has nothing to do with her nationality or her looks for me. It's all about her personality. And her phoney-baloney peacenik image. And while she may have been a talented artist, that does not extend to her recording career with or without John.

There are a LOT of pretentious celebrities whose talent is debatable: Madonna is chief among them, in my book.

A lot of the feelings about Yoko, I say again, come from a place in a lot of Westerners who looked at her and/or heard her sing and thought: "What does the great John Lennon see in her?" And dude, by all accounts I've read, was deep into some Yoko.

Agree completely. So much bile has been directed at Yoko over the years that a lot of people seem not to have noticed what a giant twat Paul's turned into. While I can't completely hate a man responsible for Helter Skelter, he pisses me off to no end.

To each their own. Of course you'll being hating a side of the same coin because they are best mates and it was Paul who came to John's son Jullien's aid when Yoko was dogging him and wrote Jude. So do the math.

Honestly, it's not even the Beatles breakup thing, though history has been re-written to the point where some people seem to think she was a complete innocent in it.

I hate her because of her opportunisitic professional widow routine, and the hateful things she says about Paul. And I don't mean in private. I mean publicly. Like at awards ceremonies and what-not.

Exactly. The race factor has nothing to do with it and is irrelevant.
