Eddie griffin was up for that part for a long time. Now it's Andre? I wonder who has the final say? This should be interesting. Just because Jamie did a good job in "Ray", does not mean that he will do the same for this bio pic. He don't think that he wants to be the "bio pic king".

apparently there four films to be made about him and the race is on to make them. Andre 3000 is staring in just one of them and the topic abt that film is abt Sammy's relationship w/ Kim Novak- a white actress/singer i believe.

Appearently, Sammy had wanted both of them to play him. I can see Eddie. People said the same thing about Will Smith, being able to pull of a serious roll. He did it in the Pursuit so, why would it be so hard to believe in Eddie. Eddie has been in the running for years and I believe Denzel, was involved with it too as one of the producers.

Well, Andre playing Jimi has been out for over a year now, cuz Janie Hendrix, (half sister and the head of Jimi's estate) basically said she would die before Andre played Hendrix. So, simply put, that ain't happening. NOW, Andre is slated to play a cat who was a good foot SHORTER than Andre?.....whatever.
