ShipBuilding Elvis Costello's or Robert Wyatt's Both great songs.
I say Elvis's.....just. Beautiful song. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I say Elvis's.....just. Beautiful song. Yay for EC fans on the Org!I've never heard Wyatt's (or of him, actually), but that was definitely one of the songs that turned me into a hardcore Costello fan.

Never heard Robert Wyatt's, but E. Costello's version is one of my faves by him A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

I absolutely love love love Robert Wyatt - I just listened to Rock Bottom on the way home from work - and Soft Machine, and i'm generally a little luke-warm on Elvis, but I actually prefer the Costello original here.
