bon jovi versus guns and roses

I'm curious. There're so many jovi fans r they as passionate as guns and roses fans, I doubt it.

I'm going with G n R.
even though they only made about 3 albums confused

Bon jovi on the other hand don't know when to quit.

Runaway and In and out love are really the only Bon Jovi singles that I like alot. I wonder what they thought after making slippery and then hearing Appetite a few years later. Even BJ must now they are not as good as GNR.

What did Skid Row ever do, apeart from "18 & life 2 go"?
Connection: they are both semi-lucid american dream heavy-rock-pop bands

Two very different groups, Jovi was always put in that Hair Metal phase, but really i wouldnt put them in that category, since that was an LA movement and Jovi is an East Coast band. Guns to me is more of a harder edged Motley Crue, but to me GNR were WAY overrated, this band was almost a One album wonder, the Illsuion records to me were GNR going in the same direction of other bands, at the time in the early 90's, basically confusion was setting in and they proved they couldnt survive it, while other bands from their day, like Jovi survived it and went on to being a better band and having wider success in other countries. I know people may not dig Jovi, but as a band and as a live band they are strong.

Bon Jovi had some good pop songs, and I'd probably rather share an apartment with them then Guns, but I'd never ever think of buying one of their albums. They contributed nothing to the evolution of rock music.

Definitely Guns 'n' Roses

This is going to sound really weak , but I actually , honestly loved both bands and their music . But you can't listen to them on the same day . I like them for very different reasons and moods . G & R when I am p'd off and angry or moody and down . And Bon Jovi when I feel a bit more inspired to live , lol . You know what I mean!

I agree, but I have to point out that at least Bon Jovi has released a record in the last 10 years!
