hey you!! hug

thanks for that. i've been curious about hearing something off that album.
i love some Sheena Easton. but i don't think the song fits her vocals. i hear someone like Martha Wash, Kristine W., or even Barbara Tucker taking that track. nice outfits on her though. the video was just too much for me. all that fabulous rolleyes stuff is just..ummm too much. lol i'd like to see her do something a little more gritty. though there's no doubt she can carry a dance track, i just think for something that more house flavoured would be better suited for the above mentioned singers. not bad though.

I'm a major Sheena fan. I have been for almost 23 years!! I was so into FABULOUS when it came out. I remember sending emails back and forth to Ian Masterson (one of the album's producers) during the summer of 2000 trying to get any tiny morsel of info regarding the production and Sheena's recording sessions. Sheena recorded most of the album from Las Vegas. She was a busy gal back then as she was also appearing nightly in a production of AT THE COPA at the Rio with David Cassidy. When the album was first released in the UK, Universal said it would eventually be released in the US. That of course didn't happen. The album wasn't the hit Universal had hoped for. The single "Giving Up Giving In" though did extremely well on the UK dance charts and made chart impact in a couple of other European countries. Personally, I like the Japanese edition of FABULOUS best because it contains Sheena's superb version of Teena Marie's "I Need Your Lovin'".
