Alright time to be ghetto repoter again lol....

Alright back in 2001 when Sisqo dropped his second album, Sisqo went on 106 & Park stating that he thought at the time he was the best r&b vocalist/performer out right then and said that if someone wanted to step up, that they would do it with no bands, no music, straight mic and just blow.

2 months later, Usher's "8701" came out and AJ & Free asked Usher about the states made by Sisqo and Usher said "look at his sells and get back to me" a shot at Sisqo b/c it was said that the album flopped but still sold over a million copies.

I guess R. Kelly took hend to that statement too and went on the best of both worlds album and dissed him. The beef with Usher and Sisqo went deeper than that b/c before Sisqo's statement, Usher, Sisqo, Ginuwine, and Tyrese thought of making a supergroup for one album and everyone was cool with it but Usher. Usher I believe said he had better things to do then to do that.

The reason made that song was that Usher and Kel still kept talking about it

disbelief .. i said this in another thread.. the direction of the music industry is sad.. ppl gotta write songs about other artists and discredit them to TRY and make money .. seems to be the 'in' thing now ..all cause they cant get over the petty.. 'he said, she said' garbage.. sad disbelief ...where's the talent? .. if these ppl werent so caught up with drama.. they'd write decent music..

True, but they were a good one. "In My Bed" was one of the best R&B singles of the late '90s. The remix also managed to blow up and give the song extra life (much like "Come & Talk to Me"). In addition, they had a slew of other hits in a relatively short time ("Tell Me," "Never Make a Promise," "5 Steps," "We're Not Making Love No More," "How Deep Is Your Love," "These Are the Times," "Beauty").

Honestly Sisqo has a MUCH betetr voice and can possibly dance better than Usher (debateable). Sisqo's voice is no joke. His cover (Dru Hill) of "the love have stays on my mind" is one the best vocal performances from any Male singer in the 90's. Check it out. seriously!

I agree with u. "Beauty" is one of my favorite trax from the '90s.

I heard Sisqo on KJLH a few weeks ago talking about his upcoming solo album. He played a track from it and it sounded OK, but was nothing specatcular.
