Just when you thought Akon couldn't be more anymore of a prick... Looks like he took offence at someone in the crowd at this recent gig throwing something at him. This is his response.

Not that I approve of people throwing things at performers, but Akon is one stupid motherfucker for doing that. What if the kid got hurt? Then Akon would be exactly that: a con.

I find it ironic that people on there are dissing his looks when it was mainly young white girls screaming when he took his shirt off. Smells like haters.
Now I can't really stand this dude and I'd like to put two in his ass for owning a diamond mine in Africa, I understand where he was coming from. At every concert, there's always someone who wants to disrupt shit. You get what's comin' to you for fuckin' with people. You don't have the right to do whatever you want to a performer just because you paid admission to a show. I've seen lots of people thrown off stages before at shows, especially crowd-surfing attention whores. Its nothing new. I suspect that may have been set up, though. If there's a lawsuit afterwards, then we'll know for sure. Dude could have been a plant just to make his show more controversial. Akon is still an ass, though on the strength of owning a diamond mine in a country that's known for selling slave-mined diamonds. | |
