Jennifer Hudson - "I love you i do" I`m sure there`s been a few threads on this song already, but i`ve missed them all...
Anyway, does anyone else here like this song from "Dreamgirls"?

Anyway, does anyone else here like this song from "Dreamgirls"? I do ...it's such a fun happy song. Loved her performance of it on 'Oprah' .. Every minute of last night is on my face today....

I wanna hear it in Siedah Garrett's voice(its composer).

Yes, I'd like to her that version too. I love Siedah. Jennifer did a fine job on it though.

I wouldn't have minded if they made this a single off the soundtrack...

The song is good, but my persaonal highlight from the soundtrack is "When I First Saw You" (duet). That's truly my dream. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

The song's alright, but it wouldn't have been any better with Siedah's rusty old voice singing it.

She wrote it? Sideah Garrett is great I can`t believe she was Madonna`s back-up singer, it should have been the other way around (when you think talent, vocally)

Of the songs that were nominated for the Oscar, I think this one was the best. The problem is that they nominated all the new songs from Dreamgirls, so nobody knew which one to pick. Hence Melissa Ethridge's boring song won.

I know....doesn't that suck. The musical movie of the year doesn't get recognized. I also thought the movie should have won for cinematography, costumes and director. It is a beautiful movie. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Oh lawd, she was the best thing about that damn movie for real. and even with 'i love you i do' i still keep a soft spot for her 'and i am...' performance, too. like how they get to the climax of the AIATYING and she's STOMPing out the place in those Orthopedic Mama shoes- i saw that and i just thought, 'sis, you BETTA WORK'

I love you I do is my favorite song on the album.
It's the primary reason I bought the soundtrack.
