I like it when artist have their spouse in their videos.
It's also loving when they recognize their spouse or family members
during awards, that's one thing about Prince that I didn't understand
and that is when he recieved his awards he never thanked any of his wives during his award speech.
One time when Mayte was crying when he was being presented with an award
I just knew he was going to thank
her for being there for him, I guess he wasn't that type of person to do
such a thing back then.

I really do hate I keep missing him on Oprah...

He performed two songs and was sweating a lot which didn't look good
for him when he has a song on his CD titled "Cocaine" no, I just think he was
sweating a lot because he has on too many clothes. Oprah was acting like she was so into
him like she does when any singer is on, watch she could have Garth Brooks
on tomorrow and she would have that same reaction she put on today with
Robin. She really annoys me with that, like when Prince was on and she was ranting and raving how she listens to the Emancipation CD when she gets on the treadmill each morning, she was lying up a storm and then couple days later she
had that country singer on and was saying the same thing. She's a Fake..by
Alexander O'neal. They also gave out his CD's, Ipods and announced that he's touring with Beyonce and Beyonce announced that she was giving every audience member free tickets to their concert, which everyone jumped up and down in
their seats. You know the routine, but that about sums it up.

You can catch the repeat later tonight or this summer.

It's just refreshing to see artist
who can play and sing live music, period.
He has that Brian Mcknight, Marvin Gaye and
Prince feel to him.
Robin is good, but Jon has more flavor.

Yeah,Oprah is a big fan/supporter of India Arie I think Oprah should use Arie's song "There's Hope" as her opening theme song

I enjoy his CDs too and everyone who hears Evolution asks who it is (if they don't already know) or proceeds to tell me their favorite tracks if they're already familiar.

Maybe he is overrated. Some people think Van Hunt is overrated. Who cares? At the end of the day it's really just a matter of taste rather than measuring one artist against another.
