BEATLES FANS... Sgt. Pepper question I'm sure I'm the only one here
who knew NOTHING about this movie... I was trying to research Minnie Riperton to see which album of Quincy's she appears on and it gave me a IMDB link which listed her as a "guest of Heartland" on the movie (along with countless others like The Bee Gees, Curtis Mayfield George Benson, LABELLE (sans Patti), Aerosmith, EW+F) WOW first off... I never knew there was a movie I knew about Yellow Submarine and A Hard Day's Night, but not about Sgt. Pepper there's also an additional soundtrack? I've had this album for quite some time but I'd love to hear the soundtrack and see the movie too what are your views? is it worth it? I mean I'm GOING to see it, regardless partially to look for all these cameos I hear there are some kick ass performances! because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Well, I saw the movie countless times when I was a kid. I had the album too. The movie was voted (by a lot of ppl, fans and critics alike) as one of the worst movies ever made. Let's put it this way...The soundtrack is 100x better than the film itself. Highs: Aerosmith's cover of "Come Together" Billy Preston's cover of "Get Back!" EWF's cover of "Got to get you into my life" Lows: Alice Cooper's cover of "Because" Steve Martin's cover of "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" The Bee Gee's and Peter Frampton's covers are.... ehh..ok. "I Want you (she's so heavy)" is in my opinion the best one. [Edited 5/30/07 15:27pm]

^^^merci
I cannot wait to see this I tend to hold a special place in my heart for the underdogs i.e. Glitter so I'm sure I will love this just the fact that all these great artists are in it somewhere that's excitement enough for me just to play Where's Waldo because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

The other ppl you mentioned at the top of your post...were only in the movie at the very end if I remember correctly...in a reprise of the song "Sgt Pepper"...
Minnie Riperton, Curtis Mayfield, George Benson and LABELLE (sans Patti) were not in the movie itself. Here's the trailer to give you a little taste: http://www.youtube.com/wa...KNVa5jnKmw [Edited 5/30/07 15:34pm]
