 Luther was basically a member of Chic That's him saying "Yowsah!Yowsah!Yowsah" on their debut single "Dance,Dance,Dance".He is all over their first album.He also appeared on projects that Chic produced,such as Sister Sledge's 'We Are Family' album.He even sings backup vocals on Irene Cara's 1980 smash hit "Fame",lol.I heard that he was touring as Roberta Flack's backup singer and she had to fire him(!)...he was too good and she demanded that he pursue a solo career. | |

Luther has such a special place in my heart. My mom loved him when I was little and played him constantly and has never stopped. Some of his songs bring me back to the early 80's, cleaning house and singing with mom.
