Yeah, he said he had done some background work for Chic in an interview once. In that same interview, he went even further back.....to "Sesame Street". lol

Luther was basically a member of Chic lol That's him saying "Yowsah!Yowsah!Yowsah" on their debut single "Dance,Dance,Dance".He is all over their first album. He also appeared on projects that Chic produced, such as Sister Sledge's 'We Are Family' album. He even sings backup vocals on Irene Cara's 1980 smash hit "Fame",lol.I heard that he was touring as Roberta Flack's backup singer and she had to fire him(!)...he was too good and she demanded that he pursue a solo career.

it's almost impossible to
find this album anywhere
it's from 1978

there's said to be a song titled
"When The Shit Hits The Fan"
that I am DYING to hear eek

"Hot Butterfly" was the only one
that I could find when searching my source sad
I'll keep you in mind
if/when I run across it ;-

Now,you got me curious about this album lol with a title like "Bionic Boogie",I assume this is a disco album? LOL,I'm surprised that I'm not familiar with it.

the title is actually Hot Butterfly
and Gregg Diamond's group is Bionic Boogie
but whatever... I wanna hear the album too LOL

"Hot Butterfly" is too addicting cool
if I hear it once
I have to hear it a couple more times
before I move on

and oh yeah Bionic Boogie is a disco group

Luther has such a special place in my heart. My mom loved him when I was little and played him constantly and has never stopped. Some of his songs bring me back to the early 80's, cleaning house and singing with mom.

I'd like to walk down the aisle when I get married to "So Amazing"
