Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly & Golden Time Of Day.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I suggest ALL of their cds. They all have high moments and low moments. My favorites are "Can't Stop The Feeling", "Joy and Pain", "Maze featuring Frankie Beverly" and "Back To Basics". If you purchase the 2cd Anthology from Capital and "Back to BAsics" you will have the "essential" maze collection.

I would also recommend seeing them live. They are the last of the great live performers.

OMG daPrettyman! I totally agree. I love Frankie Beverly and Maze. Frankie Beverly is one of my all time favorites. I‘ve seen them many times and they never ever disappoint. I once wrote a letter 2 the LA Times 4 not giving them a write-up in there column after they performed at the Greek Theater (outdoor arena) in Los Angeles with Denise Williams opening. OMG! That was an incredible show. I did a thread on here about them last year. They have never been given the recognition they deserve as a group. sad funkpill thanks 4 the link, it brings back precious memories...
SunnySkies u will not be disappointed. As a matter of fact, I saw them in November of last year in St Louis. Outstanding show

I'd LOVE to see them live.
I guess they are much of a bigger name
in the states than europe since they never
seem to come overseas.

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! GREW UP WITH IT!

But I have it on vinyl; I refuse to buy the cd because it's abridged. And if anyone hasn't been to a Maze show, it feels like a family reunion. When they come back to ATL, I'm there! biggrin
