Born and raised in the D! 6 Mile and Gratiot!

We moved out in 1983 - so looking at these vids brought back some memories! I was too young to dress like this (you know when you're young your parents pick out your clothes! LOL)

I was a teenager when that clip aired. I remember always making sure I was home by 6 o'clock so that I could watch The Scene.

I was born in Detroit but I grew up here in Cali.I remember seeing The Scene in the summer of 81 when I went back there for a vacation.They premiered The Times' song "Get It Up",it was the first time I heard it.

isn't that bugged, i'd forgot all about that, The Time and Vanity Six DID stop by the Scene. you know that's STILL the only time i've ever seen the Automatic video. Prince knows The D. has to factor in to his concert jaunts at some point. I'll be patient.....for now
