I mainly wanna see Genesis and Heart. Early this morning VH1 was actually playing decent videos getting ready for it tonight. I'll be watching.....would be nice if Peter got back with them though. Alice in Chains is performing "Barracuda" with Gretchen Wilson. I wonder how it would've been if they still had their lead singer. It'll be interesting to see how that turns out. Nickleback is doing ZZ Top. Not that I was ever die hard crazy about ZZ Top to begin with, but that just makes it even worse. I saw a clip of Genesis doing "Turn It On Again" on vh1's site. They have other performances up.

BTW, Ann Wilson sings lead on most of Heart's songs, sister Nancy is the guitarist. Nancy however sang lead on a few Heart songs, notably "These Dreams".

The performers do their most popular songs. "Turn It On Again" was one that I've never been too crazy about. It was just nice to see them out there. I'm glad they showed Peter in the clips performing in those crazy costumes. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

She was on blaze huh.. That was way better than i expected, She sang "Crazy On You". at the CMT awards with Ann and Nancy and it was not that great. Alice In Chains did the do too. [Edited 5/24/07 20:23pm]

Zz Top's performance was cool. Dusty's vocals were a bit weak on Tush. It probably had something to do with an inner ear problem he's having. Nickelback's performance was cool.
Genesis performance was a bit of a lull.. but ok, Keane too. Heart can still bring it. Ann vocals still rock. Ozzy Seemed to lip-synch the first song. Queens of the Stone Age performance was cool. And Robin Williams is a pure fool. Altogether it was a pretty nice show, i'm gonna scope vh1.com at some point for performance's not shown on teevee. [Edited 5/24/07 21:00pm]

Gretchen Wilson really ought to consider doing rock. That was hot! "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

Gotta add my 2 cents on the Gretchen Wilson Heart tribute.
She NAILED it. I don't even know who she is, but she was on point, no doubt. The Heart set was rockin' 2. "He's a musician's musician..."
