Greedy Michael Jackson

Don't know if it's been mentioned already, as I don't normally take a lot of interest in him these days, but I read an article earlier today that was saying that he was in talks to do a stint in Vegas, a bit like our friend. I'm sure some of you fanatics know all the details, but apparently talks broke down as the greedy fucker wants 100 million!

Surely his days of naming his price have long gone. Maybe Prince can give him a job! smile

I wonder if this place you heard this from is the same paper that said MJ was building a 50 foot robot of himself w/lasers shooting from it in the Desert ? rolleyes Yeah right this is not true and even if it was he is worth the 100 million. His net worth is estimated to be at least 350 million so I don't think that's an outrageous price at all. MJ is not performing in Vegas though and I don't think he ever intended to do that as he hates that kind of thing.

I don't follow MJ anymore by i know that the whole vegas thing is not true...
And i also know that 100 million for a stint off vegas is a standard deal for celebs
I know Elton made about 200 for his stint.
so i reccomend don't judge other people unless
you know the standard going price for a big name act in vegas
Cause you just sound like a dick otherwise
you wanna make Mike seem greedy, mention the fact that he was paid 5 million to go to a party in london
that's more credible
P.S.
my mj card was revoked years ago, im just tellin ya how it is,

biggrin Oh yeah, that greedy bastard was paid 5 million to attend a party in London, apparently!
Just sounds a bit excessive, when Celine (I know!, you don't have to say!) did it for half that. I just think he's ALL about the money, when I think he should be grateful to be able to perform at Vegas, given the last few years, and give something back to his ass-worshipping fanatics.

Mj is flaky
He'd never commit to Vegas
And you can't compare Celine With MJ
No matter what you or anyone says
He will always be Michael Jackson
He can fart out another CD and it'll go platinum
not because its good but because hes MJ
100 Million(if it were true) sounds reasonable
The casinos would clean up
IF i were mike i'd do it
it's easy money
one problem: he doesn't like to work
lets face it, he's a slacker
MJ doesn't like to perform everyday
I don't know why he's an entertainer
one of the few, who don't have a recording studio at home
but he had fuckin llamas
let me end this rant....

Dag i understand your part of the mj brigade
but c'mon
Prince has been performing on the regular since 15/16
sure it aint 5, but c'mon he needs to really grow up
a simple problem to all (if any) money woes would be a tour
he shouldn't be whoring himself out to these arabs just for cash

I wish he would just get off his ass and do something artistic like (call me old fashioned) sing. He's supposed to be working on a new album but in a purported message last week he didn't mention it but instead referred to projects which no doubt involves building another theme park or a "film" which will never come to anything.

Instead of doing something that could put him back on track he just takes money these days to turn up to events in order to wave and shout "I love you".

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head, he don't like to work for a living. He expects everything handed on a plate, like it's his right to demand money for nothing, just because. IF he was an entertainer, he would be doing it on a regular basis. The only 'entertaining' he does these days is looking like a freak!

He´s exploring different parts of life, I guess.

Anyways. Would you feel like working in his position, with all the money and succes behind? I think he´s gonna do something when he really feels like it. I hope he does one day. lol But I don´t blame him.

you're totally right!
He should formally retire if he doesn't want to work
But to me he's not an artist
A real artist breathes their craft, does it every second of their life
and when they're not doing it, they think about it.
Prince is just as nutty, maybe a little more, as him but he's out there on the front lines
Even in his holier than thou complex he is still a true artist
And will die with a guitar in his hand, the strings will resonate with the heat of the last chord struck and he will know, while flying to heaven, Valhalla, Fiddlers Green or the Elysian Fields, that the only thing he truly loved or trusted was music and performing.
From the cold ivory of a piano to the seducing nuances of a microphone.
His DNA was laced with harmonies and drum beats.
a true music artist
MJ thinks making music is a hobby
Maybe he should just stop and be a vet
8 years training, but maybe he'll be happier

I always saw Prince's last moments with his hand on some chick's ass lol
I see what you're saying about Michael. It sometimes seems like he only makes music when he feels like it. I remember reading somewhere it was in his Epic/CBS contract to take time off between albums to give each album proper promotion or something...I forgot lol
But then again, certain albums were delayed or shelved so we don't know what's been planned:
-The original version of "Invincible" that was supposed to be released back in 1999 or 2000.
-That damn Jackson 5 reunion album lol
-The album that he was working on in 2003 when the allegations hit

He's an artist, but a pretty damn lazy one for the couple of years lol

I know. I think Prince even sleeps with the guitar, but he´s got no kids.

Frankly, I´d love to know how much is Mike working, cause ppl around him keep saying he works really hard. Quincy said he´s never seen a harder worker. But unlike Prince, he´s not always keen on sharing it with the world. I don´t know what always happens.

It always seemed to me, that since Mike´s personal life started changing it affected his work a lot. Beginning with the marriages, kids, and those stupid trials, that didn´t help him concentrate on music.
He´s said many times how much he loves being a father. That it´s the best thing in the world. I think he´s really trying to enjoy it as much as possible. He´s got little time left before they reach puberty. lol It won´t be that much fun afterwards.

it's so funny that people who probally don't even have $15,000 in a account no where, tries to talk about a man who's worth over a billion, and call him broke, a bunch of these stars when their hot, or in their prime, fee cost multi-millions for them to appear somewhere for a funtion, or for a gig, michael jackson can ask for damn near anything, and he will get it, theres nobody dead, or alive is bigger than him, just be honest with yourself(s)..... he still flies all over the world in private jets, not flying coach, but rents private jets, still shops like it ain't no other days coming after today, so if he's having money problems, wouldn't we all want those kinds of money problems??

dude has been touring since 11 years old, he is tired, but i understand those, who says he half-way performs these days, and he does, but i did what anybody with sense would do, if you know somethings coming that you don't like, you stay away from it...the world will stilll turn, and the sun will always be here..
