It's a state of preference.
I LOVE MJ I LOVE Prince MJ is my all time fav artist, Prince probably comes third for me after him and Stevie Wonder. Stopped ranking them after that, it's pretty childish.

okay, here i go:
dancing: mike (obviously) voice: prince (mike's cool, but not that cool) lyrics: hmm.. they both wrote some great shit.. nicer to the fans: mike looks: mike was cool in the 80's and early nineties, but not anymore.. body: ain't even goin' there.. concert: liked mike better at first cause of his complete entertainment, but now it's prince, mainly cause of the music.. videos: mike (obviously) don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain i'm high, so high

looking with a fake nose, yes looking wearing belt buckles and white glitter glows, yes at molesting little boys, yes at making stupid pointless dance videos w/Marlon Brando, yes at getting white girls pregnant, yes at making big statues of himself and dragging across the water, yes by putting out an album every five years, yes looking for having no lips, no at trying to play ANY instrument, no putting out his own career...its a tie U summed it all up rather nicely 4 me...MIKE is a LOSER now. I get depressed looking at him...hearing him...even thinking about him...4 many reasons which other NATIONALITIES wouldnt understand. Theres my &

mj does the writing, producing, composing. look at the credits from his albums or find a lyric page which tells who wrote/composed the song. most of it is mj or part of it is mj.

Errr, yes he does. The first song MJ wrote was in 1973.
He solely wrote most of his biggest (and best) hits: Don't Stop Til You Get Enough Billie Jean Beat It Wanna Be Startin Something (pretty much ALL of the Bad album except for 2 tracks) Who Is It Heal The World Earth Song They Don't Care About Us Stranger In Moscow The list goes on... It's widley accepted in the Jackson fan community that post Quincy, his best work has been the stuff he has wrtten and produced alone, and there are many unreleased tracks that are said to be better. Can't wait to hear the up and coming Soldier's Entrance. MJ may not be as prolific or musically inclined as Prince, but he's one heck of a talented guy, just on more of a commercially aware level. Prince is a genius.
Michael Jackson is a bigger genius. You can't compare Prince's odd move to Michael's amazing skills as a dancer. You should check out his dancing during Billie Jean on the HIStory tour - unfortunately, his best work as a dancer is also his most obscure. As a performer Michael has a much more blatant stage presence. As a songwriter, Michael is every bit as deep, personal and prolific in his writing as Prince is. Lyrically, MJ can be great, but often lacks new ideas, so I'd say Prince is better on that aspect. Vocally, MJ without a doubt. PS: Prince would love Butterflies, Break of Dawn and Heaven Can Wait from Invincible.

LoL,that video with Prince,MJ,and James Brown proves that both of them suck,LOL. MJ just sings a little bit but when the tempo gets faster he just dances. Prince tries to play the guitar but just strums out a few songs and then takes off his shirt just to shift away focus BLEEP BLEEP!

That's right. Quincy Jones' only written contribution to any Michael Jackson recording is P.Y.T., which he co-wrote with James Ingram.
Michael Jackson solely wrote and co-produced all tracks on Bad, with the exception of Just Good Friends and Man In The Mirror. We already know he had written Streetwalker and Fly Away among others for that album. Those are the only 2 we've heard so far from the outtakes, but they are IMO definitely worthy of being hit singles for anyone. That's how tight those tracks were. The album REJECTS were fantastic! Say what you want about MJ post-Thriller, but I think Bad is the perfect "Pop" album.

you know over time"Bad" has become Important in MJ's Catelog.though His Vocals&Certain Arrangements felt kinda Cold to Me on certain tracks.but I still Blast the Hell out of "Another Part of Me".MJ's Horn Jam.I give it more Props over time.I haven't swayed much over it but MJ did have a Jam like Another part of Me,Leave me alone&Liberian Girl to Boot that were my Jams&still rock for me on that Album.Michael Jackson solely wrote and co-produced all tracks on Bad, with the exception of Just Good Friends and Man In The Mirror.
