It's the fact that they are either shit hop.....or most importantly....they don't do funk or anything uptempo and "ass shakable". Those are two of the ultimate sins.

A tune like Lovergirl I can listen to. Funny thing. Last night on the way home Fire and Desire came on the radio. Normally, after Rick's section, that would be an immediate station change. But I decided to let it go just to see if her section was still just as annoying as i've always found it. Yep, it was.

But I can excuse her for having an "off-night" performance because I know Lady-T has more soul & funk than any of these pop divas that are still making hits in the 21st century. Just for fun, I would love to see Mariah, Christina, OR Anastacia do battle with Teena in a live vocal performance. I feel that Teena can beat all three of them. But at least it would be way more interesting than to see Beyonce get crush by Teena. Beyonce is no match for her at all, IMO. | |

The "Teena Pass" is just something i've observed here over time. She and solo Diana Ross are simply two artists I just don't feel at all. tA Tribal Disorder
