finally got these Hall and Oates remasters

'Private Eyes' (1981) and 'H2O' (1982) lol These were released a few years ago,but I'm just now getting them.I'm gonna finally get all their CDs.

The only remastered track I need of theirs is Sarah Smile - is that on either of those albums? smile

No,that's on their self-titled 1975 album,which I also plan to get lol You don't like their 80s stuff?

No,that's on their self-titled 1975 album,which I also plan to get lol You don't like their 80s stuff?

I have to be in an ultra cheesy mood to listen to them. But my dumb ass will clap along to Private Eyes in a second! falloff

'Private Eyes' is their best album,imo.Besides the two hits that you mentioned,the album also contains "Your Imagination","Looking For A Good Sign" and "Did It In A Minute"....great songs!!

Me too lol I bought their last CD 'Our Kind Of Soul' and the two CDs that came before that: 'Marigold Sky' (1997) and 'Do It For Love' (2003).

eek If you were alive around that time, I'm 99% sure you'd know "Maneater" and "Did It in a Minute" when you heard them. They were big singles. You might know "One on One" as well. They're all great songs. music

I saw that in the record store and started to buy it. Doesn't it have the 12 Inch version of "I Can't Go For That" as a bonus track? If so, how was it?

nod Yes,the 'Private Eyes' remaster contains the 12" version of "I Can't Go For That".It's GREAT...goes on a little longer than the album version,which is already over 5 minutes.

the song "Maneater" is classic Motown-influenced New Wave music It's a cool,catchy song but I got annoyed that too many other songs sounded just like it...

"Million Dollar Babe" by Stacy Lattisaw
"Part Time Lover" by Stevie Wonder

In 1983,alot of people made songs like that,lol
