She's been badass for years - she actually used to have a column in Guitar World magazine back in the '90s. I also brought a book she wrote on two-handed tapping back in the day.
Last time I saw/heard her, she was playing in Jeff Beck's band. My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth | |

There was a five episodes long documentary about musicians and instruments that was aired here in Finland a couple of months ago and I remember her beeing in one of the episodes. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

One of the first gigs I ever had was at Gazzarri's on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. I was in my senior year of high school. Anyway, it was a Sunday night and my band, The Flower Reverence entered the Battle of the Bands contest. Out of the 8 the competed, only 3 were picked to headline on a Saturday night. A big deal at that club back then. Anyway, my band was one of the three and Jennifer's band was another. Anyway, at the contest, I met Jennifer. We talked on the side of the stage for a few minutes. She was cool. I remember thinking of her playing that she was a female Eddie Van Halen. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Stax said: blackguitaristz said: Chris Christian and the Flower Reverence. My junior and senior year, and a few years after that, for some reason, all of my "stage names" had a religious overtone to it. Chris "Christian", Chris "Lords" and "reverence". Actually, my mother came up with the name "reverence" because I couldn't come up with a name that I liked for my band at that time. So, my mother took the names from two of my favorite artists at that time, Hendrix and Prince. From Prince, she took the first 3 letters from the name of his band at that time, "revolution". And she took the last part from the name of Jimi's most popular band "experience". Put those two together and you got "reverence" which oddly enough had , like my other stage names had, a religious overtone to it. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz.
