oh, I did.....I actually asked if he wanted to come along but he had other things to do.....don't get me wrong, it was a good concert and it got great reviews, but Interpol just aren't exciting to look at! And after 1.5 hours of their sadness I was looking for a smile.....didn't see one though!

Also, after having seen Sonic Youth a couple of months ago, maybe I was expecting a bit too much!

The new record is pretty good. The record shouldn't be listed under The Smashing Pumpkins, though. It's more along the style of Zwan and Billy Corgan's solo stuff. Looking forward to the "residence" at the Fillmore this summer.

lol I sure hope not; I want it to be good. I did like Zwan, though.

so far the only song I heard was Tarantula. The song wasn't half bad, but Billy's vocals just sound really flat and lifeless which kinda kills the song. If this track is any indication of the album as a whole, it sounds very Machina-ish.

that's nice! although, with their live skills i guess i won't
hear the difference anyway.

i'll probably be like "oh man, they're playing Zero" when in
fact they're playing Spaceboy. lol.

the few pumpkins boots i've listened to were amongst the very
worst live performances i've ever heard.

it was like a cat getting stuck in a roaring engine lol

They're definitely a hit or miss band. I've seen them 3 times.

The first was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

The second I don't remember cuz I OD'd. redface

The third was really a mess.

So it just depends, I guess.
