Are any of you hip to Mother Love Bone? They were a fantstic band from the early 90's. They got caught up in th grunge scene which I always thought was strange because they weren't grunge to me at all. They were so much more than that imo. The singer Andy Wood unfortunately died of a drug overdose. What a shame because I thought he was a lyrical genuis and had a great voice that was pretty soulful. Their one and only album "Apple" is a masterpiece imo! Some of the members of MLB went onto form Pearl Jam.

I've heard one song of theirs ("Stargazer") and it was pretty great. Maybe I need to further explore that more 'obscure' grunge scene that preceded the mainstream '90s one...
