This song is so important to me. Having grown up abused by nearly everyone around me and that I came in contact with over the fact that I am gay, I love that one of my musical heroes took on the issue of faggothood. Considering my eyes should have fallen out of my head considering how many tears they have shed I should have identified with it immediately. But i didn't. Actually I saw here 4 months before Bitter was released and she did that whole album during the concert in a very stripped down accoustic type way and I remember being very impressed then and then I don't know what happened.
