I like the show, but I get a giggle anytime anyone gets worked up over the results. Big deal. I've known for the past several weeks that it would be Jordin and Blake in the finals. I have nothing against Jordin at all (and I don't think she's low-rent anything). She's talented, and she's got plenty of room to grow. Blake will coast on the cute factor for the next 15 (14, 13, 12, 11...), so big up to the chubby teenage girls and queens that voted for him. I just don't think he can expand at all on what talent he actually possesses.

Melinda will be just fine. She has nothing to worry about, because she can support herself for a long while on her talent. Let's hope her recording career is handled well.

As for the finale...I would love to see Jordin take it all but something tells me that Blake is going to win if only for the reason that AI has failed to have a male win the competition and have a blockbuster album the way Kelly and Carrie have done. Ruben and Taylor both had minor success on the charts and the producers probably see Blake as the guy who can sell millions of albums. He certainly has that Maroon 5 vibe (nowhere near as good). and the teenage girls will flock to buy his records and see his shows. My bets are on Blake...my vote is on Jordin.
