Travis - The Boy With No Name

I love Travis. Was a little disappointed with 12 Memories but it still was a pretty good CD.

I didn't know TBWNN was even out until today when I checked their website. Just downloaded it from iTunes and am really diggin what I am hearing. Def hearing echos of The Man Who...there are some really rockin tunes on here (well, for Travis they are rockin). Selfish Jean and Eyes Wide Open has got my toes a tappin here!

Any other Travis fans here? Whatcha think of The Boy With No Name?

I'm a big Travis fan. I'm still a little mystified they aren't more popular here in America.

Anyway, I enjoyed the album on the first listen. I have a good feeling (no pun intended) that it'll be my second favorite (after The Man Who, of course) before too long.

I don't know, while I think the new cd is all right, its the same old stuff Travis have been doing for yrs. I just wish they would experiment a bit more.

I agree that they don't stray too far from the formula...but I am fine with that. The are one band that no matter what time or place their stuff always sounds good.

This new one is becoming addictive. Its been on constant rotation all weekend.

They do fall into that category where all their songs sound exactly the same to a non-fan.
