Male/Female singers that made you cry.

Are there any male or female singers that made you cry while listening to their song?

It would also be cool to specify why. For example:

-because the vocal was so beautiful
-because the lyric touched me
-because it was that damn bad

Johnny Cash - "Hurt"
Bjork - "Unison"
Prince - "Purple Rain" (in the movie, when he kisses Wendy on the cheek)
and that Titanic song used to get me choked up after I saw the movie redface

The Carpenters do evoke a sad mood, i think mainly coz of Karen's death. Even one's like "Close To You" and "Yesterday once more" have a sad tinge

Hey Watch it!!!!!

I cried when I first heard him sing. I cried when I saw his documentary and I was lucky enough to cry at his concert last year in San Francisco.

AMAZING MAN!!!!

Strange Voodoo by Boy George makes me cry and so does CRY by Annie Lennox. These songs say exactly what I've always to say to one of my ex's.

It's so strange. I was all teary-eyed throughout the documentary. That's never happened to me before.
