off the wall is my fave album ever, for sure it would be the perfect album, apart from that dodgy ad lib in 'can't help it" at the end (3.43), how could quincy have let that one go.....

but yes still a great song, and the greatest of albums, all the musicians top session players. think off the wall will stand the test of time more than thriller, with the timeless production.

Off The Wall is looked at by MJ fans the same way that Sign O' The Times is with Prince fans. It is a timeless record in the grand scope of music. Thriller will always be more popular just like Purple Rain but amongst fans, held in lesser regards.

BEAUTIFUL song, except stvie wonder wrote the song for michael but he's not in the song smile unless you mean "just good friends",the duet they sang together on mj's bad album
"we make our heroes in America only to destroy them"

NO.

Probably and probably not, but Off The Wall is still his best record. It was the last time he really sounded like himself before the monster that became Thriller. OTW was his coming-out party!

to be honest it sounds more
Rod Temperton-ish
but that's just me
