in my opinion this "new and improved" smashing pumpkins is just going to be Zwan part 2. tis sad thought cause the smashing pumpkins(not this one) is my favorite band ever.

d'arcy and james iha are NOT in the band. i saw a report on who they got to replace them...a male and a female, both from little indie bands i'd never heard of before...but if this is a reunion, they should have zwan open for them.

yuck, i hate it. i much prefered the black and white artwork that
was on their site a while ago.

also really hate the idea of others filling iah and d'arcy's
shoes in this new band that shouldn't be called SP imo.

oh well, i will see them live may 28 so i guess i'll just have
to wait and see what they're gonna be like.

but i think they'll suck since even the original pumpkins line
up was quite a horrible live band, lol.

It's pretty amazing how lackluster Billy was by himself, considering how kickass a band they really were. On CD anyway

i also think that billy corgan just kinda copped out after his solo
album flopped.

he should have gone back into the studio and made a more honest 2nd
album. something that would have sounded more real and honest stead
of his debut which sounded like it wanted to be pumpkins prime too
much and ended up being neither pumpkins nor real corgan.

i really do believe he has it in him. the man who wrote the bulk of
the material that comprised Mellon Collie and all those b-sides can
not be gone completely.

brought their own special vibe to the whole package.
