who likes that band japan?

their super-duper cool. and in my opinion-duran duran totally ripped off their look and sound..the best synth pop act from the 80's!

how funny, i was thinking of checking out a cd of theirs but i don't know where to start. any suggestions?

Its also funny i was just thinkin about the album Gentlemen Take Polaroids its my fav by them. Swing and Methods of dance both very spooky are the best tracks on that one but the Quite LIfe album comes second for me.

Duran Duran were infucend by them even Nick Rhodes tried to look like David Sylvian.

I like danceing to Swing in the dark.lol

The compilation album Exorcising Ghosts is the place to start. Most definately.

"Quiet Life" is a pretty solid album; don't know too much else from 'em.

I disagree (strongly) that they are the best synth-pop band of the 80's.

That being said, I think "Ghosts" is a brilliant single.

i just heard samples online from their "adolescent sex" album and it sounded pretty good. anyone familiar with that one? i'll listen to the ones you guys mentioned soon.
