Not as a kid, no, I wasn't a fan at all. When I realized what a badass groundbreaker she was while I was in college, she became a kind of role model for me. I can't say that I wanted to be her, that's a little extreme. But in some ways, I wish I had her success, drive and daring. I'd love to be able to do my art full time and get paid for it, have a thriving fan base, be a role model for women all over the world, and have the power and finances to make significant social change.
