Public Image Ltd's Album/Cassette/Compact Disc needs a 4th name Musical platforms sells it under the name "Compact Disc." Shouldn't they sell it under a name such as "Files" or "Download" or "WMA"???
How come the band didn't do something about it & what r these platform guys thinking???!!!

they could call it "album" - that's pretty much the generic term for an original collection of songs regardless of the media on which it's released, no?

Well, that was not their opinion back in the 80's: to them "Album" designed a LP only... yeah, but that was a while back...plus, that distinction suited the gimmick of the naming convention of that record. what could they have called the LP format version instead..."Vinyl"? i guess they could have.
