SoulAlive said: Anybody got the schedule for the upcoming weeks?
This what I see for next week: "Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. sing "Shine On Silver Moon" and "You Got the Love"; and Lakeside does "A Shot of Love" and "It's All the Way Live." "Say I'm lookin' at you, from the corner of my eye..."

Next week is listed as "Best Of" and has a clickable link. The week after that is simply listed as "Soul Train" and you cannot click on it. If they are going back to new episodes of the "Shit Hop Train", I hope their ratings drop so low the show gets cancelled. Andy is a four letter word.

This one's right at the height of the disco era who remembers Carrie Lucas' disco jam "Dance With You"? The Gap Band weren't big stars yet...on this episode, they probably perform their 1979 song "Shake". I was born 2 days before this episode aired.

Gino Vanelli / Gloria Gaynor (17 March 1979) I could care less if I ever hear "I Will Survive" again. However, I would love to see her do "Anybody Wanna Party" and hopefull she will do that one as her second song. The name Gino Vanelli sounds familiar but I can't remember what he sang. Even that Freda Payne/Atlantic Starr episode looked good on paper. "Say I'm lookin' at you, from the corner of my eye..."

Yeah I gotta admit, some of those recent 1978 episodes weren't very good. That era was AMAZING but those epiodes don't really reflect that.Don is holding out on the truly good stuff! I mean, come on.....Freda Payne?? There were better performers from that era that could have been shown!
