In an exclusive interview with Terrell of MiddleChild Promotions, gospel singer Karen Clark-Sheard revealed that one of her future projects includes a collaboration with Mariah Carey.


Terrell: Cool. Now you mentioned Aretha Franklin, I read somewhere that you're supposed to be working with her with your sisters and whatnot, but the fans want to know, what are some of the collaborations that you have in store for us in the near future?

Karen Clark-Sheard: Well, of course Aretha reached out to us, she has a production that she is coming out with that she wanted us to be a part of. So we're looking to colleborate with her in the future... And also Mariah Carey

I wish for this to finally happen 'cause she's been mentioning it since last year when she took part in some tribute event to Mariah at NYC, singing One Sweet Day.

It's been said Mariah was left in tears after her performance and insistet they work out something together, esp. that she's a huge fan herself.

Mariah is way out of her League on this one.. Poor Thang..

Yep my dad is a gospel artist. He did shows with The Clark Sisters back in the day. My sisters and I used to pretend to be them. I was Dorinda!

I saw the Clark Sisters on a Gospel show recently and they blew me away. Beautiful voices...beautiful women!!!

Oh yeah and their mother used to direct the COGIC mass choir. When she would come to Jersey I would sing on the choir she was also very gifted a real trailblazer.
