(i am posting this in this forum, because no Prince involvement on this album)

the album is called WE'LL NEVER TURN BACK and is produced by Ry Cooder. it's getting rave reviews too.

i think it's a great album, her voice sounds good and it blends well with the arrangements.

I listened to this one with half an ear. One review I've read wasn't really positive. To me it sounded a bit dull, it didn't quite pull me in. Lets create a hype:
Perhaps some quotes from the press?
Favorite tracks?
What are the albums strong points?

no need to start a hype..lol.. either u like it or not, I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet. Will do when I get the chance tho, I absolutely adore Mavis and I appreciate Ry Cooder, so I'm thinking it should be quite interesting

I listened to it with one ear today, and it actually sounded a lot better. Next time I'll try it in stereo!

If I like it even better, I'll hype it anyway, sovembol!

i saw her on leno i think in the last few days and she sound horrendous. like "maybe u should hang it up" horrendous. she must be a smoker er sumthin
