It's gonna be a very good time to be a Laurie Anderson fan...

According to the newly-revamped (and much easier to navigate) laurieanderson.com, the following is on the way:

JUNE 07: Long-overdue reissue of Laurie's Big Science album, with bonus tracks! They're keeping mum on what those tracks may be, but there will surely be a lot from which to choose, drawing from b-sides, promotional remixes, live performances, home demos and more.

2008: New album: HOMELAND

"COMING SOON": DVD box set of Home of the Brave concert film, video anthology and more!

And just released this month is a new book of drawings by Laurie called Night Life, which I'll have to check out soon...

Hopefully the "Big Science" reissue means the same treatment will be given to her other 80s gems, "Mister Heartbreak", "Home of the Brave", and...dare I say it...the 4-disc "United States Live" set?

So funny, I checked out her site the other day, on a whim of course. And I saw this same stuff and was going to mention it to you. And look...here it is.

I neeeeed to see her in concert again. SHe is like the only artist that I start craving after a long time not seeing them.

I do hope reissues happen for all of her music.
