Andre 3000

the love below was very prince-esque to me
he even bit prince in "she live in my lap" using the synth to heighten the pitch of his voice like prince does when he's carmen

It's Clinton's fault.
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Camille.smile And yes, I listened to Andre before I got into Prince then i realised how much 3000 had ripped him off.

I don't think it was exactly ripping him off. I was more like paying homage.

Funny thing is, I just started listening to "Speakerboxx" for the first time and I've had that album for 3 years now

To me, it wasn't homage it was more of an impersonation. Sure, the music was good but not great and not really that original. I just think he borrowed a little too much from Prince.

I was actually surprised when I started listening to Speakerboxxx at how good it was. There's some really strong songs on there, Flip Flop Rock was one of my favourites smile

Speakerboxx is nice but Love Below is a classic

for those of you who think the same, what else would you consider classic albums?

The Love Below always sounded like a Prince demo to me.
