i'm probably just not very bright, but i've found that playing drums and singing at the same time is extremely difficult. nod

Actually, too me singing and playing drums is a peace of cake. Its the guitar/piano and singing that gives me trouble.

I might be singing/playing along and forget where the note is look down, and the I'm screwed, because I will probally forget to sing.

I play guitar, and I cant sing and play at the same time to save my life. lol

No, I don't want to see someone just standing on a stage playing an instrument looking like Lawrence Welk and his accordian. Hell, dancing is fine as long as it is done by the artist and band themselves and it is what comes natural to them.....NOT a stage full of choreographed dancers looking like either an episode of "Fame" or a Broadway musical.

I agree. But did you really have to diss "Fame" at the same time?!? Debbie Allen & the late Gene Anthony Ray were freaking awesome duo! cool

In fact, if Gene was alive today, he would've taken Usher, Chris Brown, & Omarion back to the old-school with some serious dance moves. My opinion of course.

Oh I love "Fame". I love the storyline and even the dancing is OK for what it is....modern type Broadway dancing done on a stage in a musical....NOT a funk or rock concert. I see it this way, you would look pretty dorky doing those ballet ass looking dances on a dancefloor in a nightclub. People would laugh you out of the club. Dances done by funk or rock artists should be no different than what is done on a dance floor in a nightclub. When they get more complicated, they belong in a Broadway musical.

As for mixing Broadway in with rock and funk concerts.....hell naw. Keep the concerts as cool and strong looking as possible. As for mixing funk and rock music in with Broadway shows....hell yeah! Anything to keep them from being boring. In other words, it's OK to make something boring more interesting but don't make something interesting more boring. lol
Andy is a four letter word.
