Watching American Idol tonight... Each singer chose a song that inspires them. I thought it was a pretty good show, and it made me think of songs that inspire me.

One that came to mind immediately: Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush. That is such a beautiful song that is very inspirational and personal for me.

I'm sure there are others, but that one is definitely near the top of the list.

Keep Your Heart Right - Terry Callier - In the last 10 years this song has inspired more than any other song, it has definetly stop me from becoming completely bitter and hardened by certain things that have happened over the years. I think the title of the songs says it all.
