What happened to the group getting back together? where is Mr. Dalvin and Devante. I know KCi has the talent, but I like the Jodeci sound better than K Ci and Jo Jo.

They did the KMEL Summer Jam here in the Bay Area and the feedback that it was a "crackhead" show, and KC looked like he had just finished a coke binge

The members of Jodeci are my personal friends. Some of the comments on this thread are just well harsh. What Jodeci brought to the music scene has never been matched or duplicated. For those who care, they continue to make music. I know K Ci, Jo Jo hell maybe all the members of Jodeci do not may not stack up to some of your standards but some of the shit posted here has absolutely nothing to do with music. I've known KCi and JoJo all my life and when I met the Degrate brothers they showed me nothing but love and respect. I pray continually for them and I think they have nothing left to prove to the public. I am sticking up for them because I love them and I have seen parts of them most other people never will. They are all cool people and I don't think they deserve some of the things that are said about them. I have come on this thread not to start a fight but just because I have to take some of this shit with a grain of salt because those are like my brothers and nobody on this thread would just stand by and let someone talk shit about their brother.

I mean I liked the first 2 albums
especially that Diary Of A Mad Band
many memories with that album

The comment i made about KCi was just good humor. Don't take it serious. I live near charlotte so i have seen KCi around a few times. As far as them bringing something to the music seen that has never been duplicated,that statement is debatable. They have followed others just as others have followed them. I respect KCi and JoJo as a duo because they stepped up and made material that was classy versus the stuff they did as members jodeci. As members of jodeci, it seemed like their only goal was to outsex r.kelly.

Adorable 2, how did you meet them? I posted the question because I seen K Ci and jo jo perform back in 2000. and they said that Jodeci was getting back together. I have also seen in the past couple of months that it has been advertised on Ticketmaster that they are perfoming as Jodeci. But everytime just before the concert date the shows seemed to be getting cancelled. so either they are getting back together or they are not. I wish they would quit posting shows on ticketmaster only to cancel dates.

So If you know them so well, What's the deal? Why did they break up and are they getting back together or not?

Jagged Edge have tried it but never duplicated it. Jodeci was really the first R&B group to mix R&B and Hip Hop. New Edition bordered on it in the late 80's but they were still very choreographed and polished. Jodeci was like The Temptations meet Wu Tang Clan. Devante's productions and the Hailey brothers vocals were no easy feat yet they managed to make it flow effortlessly. They could sing women out of their panties but still managed to keep enough street cred to run with bad boys of hip hop. Boyz to Men couldn't do that even though they were really good singers. Thats what I mean.
