SIGNING SANJAYA TO A RECORDING DEAL

If given the chance to sign Sanjaya to a record deal would you?
I do not think he's great but he is marketable and probably just as talented vocally (in a studio recording) as any of the current line of young R&B/Pop)stars whom are out right now. We've simply had the displeasure of hearing Sanjaya sing live first.

I wouldnt sign him if i had a label, but im sure labels want him right now, they need to cash in on him now before his whole faze dies out. Its not really about the talent, the labels need money, so whoever is going to bring it in they'll sign. 2 girls from Idol have already been signed to deals from this years cast-offs, the Haley girl got a deal and modeling deal and that other girl that had a scandal or something, she got signed too.

I would never pass up a good investment..he already has a Fan Base, Believe it or not he has a decent tone in his Voice and he has great stage presence..

Trust me, he's already in a contract and most likely working on the album as we speak to hurry up and capitalize off the momentum.

He will make more than every other Contestant this season..

Yes. Three words: High School Musical. It's good money (but probably horrible music).

Yes. He's marketable, his voice is sweet and he'll probably turn out to be a decent actor, as well. He has a good sense of humor too. That will go a long way.

a bunch of free promo courtesy of the first however many weeks on American Idol, I think I would sign almost any of them, and I don't even like their singing.

exactly, from a business standpoint it makes sense. But is he my ideal artist? I don't think so, no.

He's about 18 minutes deep into his 15....

I think Sanjaya and William Hung should do a duet together.
