This person has a big multi-octive vocal range like real singer. The music has the rhythm structure and synth that sounds like 80's Prince. Its not an old song. It was being played as a new song on a Top 40 radio station. I remember the time of day I heard it.....I guess I'll have to call the station and ask if they recall what track they played on 4/24 around 7:30 pm that sounded like Prince.....

The first time I saw the video for this song I grew immediately excited and enraged because it had the Prince 'vibe.'

I know others have mentioned WDC and EC, but for me it immediately provoked memories of 17 Days, with its lyrics, theme and vocal delivery.

I got over my rage and have just grown to accept this as a Prince tribute.

The chorus and vulnerability (curling up like a child ) is totally something Prince would write.

P.S. Keyshia has always ruined it and taken me out of the song. I have to force myself to listen to hear. Her parts don't compliment Diddy's at all.

Diddy is a Prince geek.

I think I've heard him praise Prince in the past. Wonder if he goes to his parties? ha ha.
