Great new wave of the 80's: Split Enz.

These guys were badass. I had that album with all the fancy cuttings in the vinyl that makes it look like stained glass. Worth buying just for that. I'm sure there are several copies in the remainder bins of local chop shops..lol.

This is almost as good as the fucking Beatles.

New Zealands finest. Here in New Zealand the Finn brothers are practically gods, they both still do albums now which are bigger sellers here and in Australia. I grew up with Split Enz

I guess the other orgers don't seem to give a shit..lol Guess they know less about the hallowed 80's then they are willing to let on to. There was more then stinky Madonna, that's for sure.

Hells yeah. How can you deny the great Pop songwriting of the Finn Brothers. Yeah, Crowded House was probably much more popular, but Spilt Enz definitely had their place in history too. nod

I love the Enz! Crowded House is my favorite band, but Split Enz was great in its own way. All of their studio albums were re-released last year with remastered (and sometimes remixed) sound done by the keyboardist Eddie Rayner himself. They also did a few reunion shows last year, but there were only Down Under. I'm glad there are other Frenz of the Enz on the Org! woot!
