I played in the orchestra behind Joe Williams when he was here in Detroit years ago. I was also part of the Detroit "Love Unlimited Orchestra" for Barry White on one of his last tours. | |

Uncle Ray at a Capitol Jazz Fest. I couldn't believe he was onstage right in front of me. He was soulful, flirty and dirty, and the crowd couldn't get enough. "Georgia on My Mind" brought me to tears. The man was killer. | |
