Well now even Oprah's praising him Did any body catch Robin Thicke on Oprah today. That dude is on fire and his wife is gorgeous and sweet as a candy cane!!! I love his CD and I am a little more than happy for him and his 'overnight' success. His music reminds me of the good that music can do the same way Prince's music has. This dude's the real deal! No matter what color he is, he's gonna be around for a long time.

Am I the only one not feelin' this guy? I saw a performance of his on msn and wasn't moved. He's as convincing to me as JT.
Any particular songs I should listen to?

Any particular songs I should listen to? I love him, but there are plenty of people who don't. I love the whole album, but these are my picks: "Would That Make U Love Me" (reminiscent of Marvin Gaye) "2 the Sky" "Can U Believe" From his first album, I'd suggest these first: "Brand New Jones" "Oh Shooter" "The Stupid Things" "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Any particular songs I should listen to? (from the jukebox on robinthicke.i8.com) try When I get you alone and Suga Mama from his first album Also try Teach U a Lesson and Ask Myself from The Evolution of Robin Thicke Note that he writes and produces most of his music and plays the piano very well I might add. JT just doesn't have the soul that Robin posesses. Robin's authentic...

Any particular songs I should listen to? Dude's a little full of himself. He said in an interview people compare him to Justin Timberlake and Marvin Gaye but don't compare Justin to Marvin. I have NEVER heard that comparison. Maybe Marlee Matlin made it? He sounds nothing like Marvin. Lost Without You is on his upper end of songs to listen to. If that don't sell you, i don't think he has much more to offer.

"Lost Without U" is one of his better songs, but I think he has a lot more to offer. It's not very similar to his other tracks IMO (particularly those on the first album). I agree,he doesn't sound like Marvin but some of his songs have that Marvin Gaye "vibe"."Teach U A Lesson" is reminiscent of Marvin Gaye's "After The Dance".These days, almost every R&B male singer is reaching for a Marvin Gaye vibe, lol.Listen to Brian McKnight's recent song "Find Myself In You".That song could almost be considered a homage to Marvin.

He's just not doing anything 4 me. He ain't bad, just not that great. Maxwell can blow this kid outta the water. "He's a musician's musician..."

Its funny how these fanbots on here are quick to call Maxwell a Prince clone but not so quick to call Robin a Maxwell clone. I guess he gets a special pass. Selective memory at work on the org.
